Brief Introduction

Professor Patrick Leung is a clinician-scientist. Trained as a clinical psychologist in The University of Hong Kong and obtained his PhD in Psychology in University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, he is a pioneering researcher in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry, family functioning and parenting, and cognitive-behavioural therapy.
 
Prof. Leung is currently a Research Professor and the Director of Graduate Studies in Clinical Psychology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. An esteemed teacher of many local clinical psychologists and researchers in child mental health, he maintains his enthusiasm in the quest for more, especially in the understanding of the psychopathology, psychological assessment/intervention, and molecular basis of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and recently autism spectrum disorder.
