Brief Introduction
Dr. Alan Tong obtained his PhD from the Department of Psychology, CUHK, in 2022 and joined the department as a Research Assistant Professor in 2024. He is also the research team lead of the Jockey Club TourHeart+ Project (https://www.jcthplus.org/). Dr. Tong’s research focuses on mental health communication and digital mental health. He is particularly interested in studying how psychological reactance affects the uptake and adherence of psychological interventions.
