認知神經科學:聽覺和語言過程中的腦部動態

腦成像方法:多式聯運成像方法,光學腦影像分析,腦功能連通性

我的研究主要關注在多模式腦成像技術方法的發展以及這些技術是如何被用來研究人腦在多種認知過程中的動態活動。我特別關注在檢測環境刺激變化的過程中所涉及到的記憶與注意加工,以及這些加工過程背後的神經基礎。刺激變化的範圍很廣,從簡單的物理異常(比如音調的變化)到抽象概念的違反(比如語法規則的違背)都屬於我的研究對象。配合恰當的腦成像技術,刺激變化可以幫助我們研究大腦是如何加工不同複雜程度的信息,比如從簡單的刺激知覺到複雜的語言理解。我運用多種不同的腦成像技術來研究不同腦區之間在時間維度上的互動。事件相關光學信息(event-related optical signals ,EROS)是我主要採用光學腦成像技術。在研究中我會將EROS與腦電技術(electroencephalography,EEG)、功能性核磁共振(functional magnetic resonance imaging ,fMRI)、功能性近紅外光譜(functional near-infra red spectroscopy ,fNIRS)或者經顱磁刺激( transcranial magnetic stimulation ,TMS)結合。
