Optional
Minor
A student may elect to take a Minor Programme. A psychology major may
take any subject other than Psychology as a minor subject provided that
consent has been obtained from the various Boards of Departments concerned.
Students may opt for double minors with the permission from the various
Boards of Departments. The adjusted major programme unit requirement is
then 52. In this case, 9 units are exempted from the Elective Courses.
Minor
in Psychology
Students are required to complete a minimum of 18 units of courses,
which include PSY 1010 (or its equivalent) and any four psychology courses
at 2000 or above level. Prospective Minor students are required to take
PSY1000 or UGC258S or UGD258S and obtain a passing grade before being admitted.
