Centre
Description
The
Clinical and Health Psychology Centre was established in 1993, operating
under the Graduate Studies in Clinical Psychology of the Psychology Department
at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The Centre provides a range of
psychological services to the general public and organizations.
Objectives
-
To
provide professional psychological services to adult, children, and/
families who are experiencing emotional, cognitive or behavioral problems
in a private and client-oriented setting.
- To offer training
and consultative services to various organizations.
Psychological
Services

Assessment
General assessment: assessment of intelligence, aptitude, personality,
and vocational adjustment, etc.
Specialized assessment: diagnostic, neuropsychological and forensic
evaluations.
- Treatment
Both individual and group/family therapies are provided, using various
treatment modalities and programme

Workshops
and groups
Workshops and groups are organized to focus on specific topics of
psychological concern including stress management and Interpersonal
communication.

Consultation
Consultation is offered to individuals and organizations in the form
of employee assessment, psychological service development and outcome
evaluations
Facilities
and Staffing
The
Centre houses private facilities for individual counselling, group therapy,
and play therapy. It is equipped with a wide selection of Chinese and
English-language psychological tests, biofeedback and neuropsychological
instruments, and audiovisual aids.
Services at the Centre
are provided by experienced clinical psychologists.
Fees
Fees will be charged
according to a schedule related to the services rendered.
Location
and Appointments
The Centre is situated
in Chung Chi College at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, New
Territories, close to the KCR University Station. A staff member will
