Abstract
This
report will illustrate how to acquire and analyze information from multi-channel
ERP. Spatiotemporal patterns of ERP provide a good solution to it. Two
methods will be introduced: fuzzy microstate analysis and statistical
parametric mapping. Both were applied in a research on Chinese idiom
comprehension. The underlying neural mechanism and the roles of syntax
and semantics were demonstrated clearly. Those techniques were further
applied in the experiment of subliminal emotional priming. It suggested
emotional stimulus under subliminal presentation induced more activities
in right hemisphere than that under supraliminal condition. Besides,
Prof. Zhou will give a general description of Nan Fang Hospital.
