How Families and Friends Help Children Understand Feelings?

Our Department invited Professor Norman Freeman to deliver the second lecture of the series on 10 April 2002.In this lecture, Professor Freeman argued that emotions play a central role in stimulating intellectual development. He explained how young children come to learn what makes them and other people happy or sad, excited or surprised within the family.
